Thanks Sam! A change with my hosting and you are right the encoding has gone wayward. Something to fix in the morning!

I think if you read the article carefully you will see I am actually not against standards at all, in fact I believe they are extremely important. I just wish browser developers had followed them. Thankfully with the coming of Firefox and then Chrome and Microsoft's response it seems things are slowly getting better.

Hi

Thank you very much. This has helped us with tax rates which has been confusing us with Guernsey and Jersey for a while now.

It looks like the last 2 entries have typos which you may want to correct so we're definitely getting it right :)

Thanks you.

Chris.

I have some code somewhere that does exactly that, only difference is that I run it for each order as they come in... but once you have the order object you should be able to call the same methods.

I will post an example here once I get a chance to dig up the code, but you can probably guess at the method names from the list of fields above. I am yet to work out why some of the method names match the above fields, but not all of them :-)

Hi and thanks for your quick answer,
I would like to export a CSV file with the following parameters: orders increment id; product sku; product qty; grand total.

<code>
require_once 'app/Mage.php';
umask(0);
Mage::app();
$orders = Mage::getResourceModel('sales/order_collection')
        ->addAttributeToSelect('*')
        ->addFieldToFilter('status', array("in" => array(
            'processing',
			'new')
            ))
        ->addAttributeToFilter('store_id', Mage::app()->getStore()->getId())
        ->addAttributeToSort('created_at', 'asc')
        ->load();
$exportData = array();
  foreach($orders as $order):
	$OrdersLine = array ($order->getIncrementId(),$order->getGrandTotal());
	array_push($exportData, $OrdersLine);
  endforeach;

function outputCSV($data) {
    $outstream = fopen("var/export/exportOrders.csv", 'w');
    function __outputCSV(&$vals, $key, $filehandler) {
        fputcsv($filehandler, $vals, ',', '"');
    }
    array_walk($data, '__outputCSV', $outstream);
    fclose($outstream);
}
outputCSV($exportData);
</code>

Admit, I'm new in magento, and I stuck in this phase.
How could I obtain and insert product sku and qty in the CSV file?

Thanks

Hi Golyo, you must not be getting the order object properly. Vijay's code above already assumes you have an order object on which to call getAllItems() so there is possibly a step missing in your code.

You can find the code to load an order in this post... http://www.jimcode.org/2011/04/title-orders-payment-method-magento/

Hope that helps!

Hi Dipalia, that isn't something I have actually done but I am sure there must be some methods to load orders by date and after that worst case scenario would be o do your own filtering. Sorry not a great deal of help.
